am now running fedora 11 on 64 bit hardware,
& still unable to achieve 1600x1200 display,
as on fedora 10.
have tried booting with nomodeset, booting
with nomodeset as new user, adding new mode
to xrandr.
a generated xorg.conf fron Xorg -configure
doesn't work, and one from system-config-display
seems to be ignored by xserver(?).
any pointers?
