And in fact btw the yum group for installing Sugar is Sugar Desktop
Environment (probably a mispell in previous post ;-)
and the install command is (remember to include double quotes):

yum groupinstall "Sugar Desktop Environment"

that will tipically take in about 50Mb of packages on your system.
