Open the Nautilus main browser, select Edit->Preferences
and bugtool pops up and crashes all open Nautilius browsers.

I had this on my F10 box after going to use the nautilus prefs. app. for the first time in ages.

Much debugging showed it going to access some old pref. that it now wanted as a string when it used to be an int, and there was an unchecked pointer being returned as zero (due to the type mis-match).

I don't think it was the only one, so trying to remember which pref. in particular it was prob. won't help (but I'm having a look anyway).

Allegedly fixed in “more recent versions”. You may wish to check your prefs., or move them out of the way.
