It seems that there are few "suggestion": 1. That later bug report seems to just turn off the power management like you said, but you didn't find that fix anything. 2. Try out the latest kernel from wireless-testing. Did you ever have a chance to do this ? I am curious if you were successful, and would care to elaborate some, or even if you have "prescription" on how to compile the kernel.
