no you're not... you're root - see the pwd that says root? see the
prompt?  (#) you're root

putting 'sudo' into commands when you are already root is meaningless
and a waste of 4 letters and a space.

At least I got the information on the repositories ;-) . As it seams, the adobe repository isn't yet properly installed. Here again what happens if I follow your instructions:

[r...@sangam simon]# su - -c 'rpm -ivh http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/adobe-release/adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm' Retrieving http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/adobe-release/adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
    package adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch is already installed
[r...@sangam simon]# su - -c 'rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-linux'
error: /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-linux: import failed.
[r...@sangam simon]#

Does this help?
