First of all I must say that I am not advocating for dwarf2 at all; I 
just volunteered to do the work since people have been asking for this 
change and I wanted to make sure that stuff that might break things goes 
in early in rawhide cycle.

However, as I understand that there are two benefits for DWARF2:
1) Speed: SJLJ has runtime cost associated even when no exceptions are 
thrown; unlike DWARF2.
2) Compatibility: upstream MinGW has DWARF2 instead of SJLJ in their 
latest toolchain.

However, I'll give a chance for people who originally proposed that 
change to step up and say why it'd be a good idea.
