In looking at this, it seems that the directory where BZ writes stuff is determined (in part) by the $libdir variable in Bugzilla/Config.pm - which has a value of '.'. Normally, I would simply try changing this value, but there is a note just above that that entry that says changing $libdir will cause breakage. There's also a note that "it is not yet possible to mvoe the .pms elsewhere", which I assume means the Bugzilla/*.pm files must be in the same directory as BZ is writing stuff to. Would anyone from upstream care to comment on this?
