I also found some useful tips in the Packaging Note on you wiki page. One of them is using the $DESTDIR to specify the $RPM_BUILD_ROOT during installation. Therefore, I am making some changes since this is much cleaner than the code in revision 3. I hope this would not interrupting your review.
