Hi Ray, I just thought of an interesting question, do you have an
approximate idea of how many of your own books you have around the
house? Do you dedicate and sign them for yourself ;)

Thanks,
Jason M.

I have no idea. I've got boxes in storage and boxes in the garage. I try
giving away as many as I can to the foreign language departments at
schools and colleges around town, but they really have issues of their own
on what they can take (how much storage they have, how much space
they can dedicate to elective reading outside the curriculum, inventory
control, etc.) so I can only get rid of so many. And no, I am not mailing
them out to any of you lot.

So I need to set up a my own school in SD dealing in foreign languages
:)

Ironically, and contrary to popular belief, even I don't have all the
foreign editions, some being out of print before I even discovered them
! <G>

If I ever get around to purging the boxes, John, I'll have you send along a list of what you're missing and see if I have any. However, I know for a fact I also have editions missing as some publishers (especially Eastern Europe) were lax about author's copies before they went belly up or stopped publishing.

Many thanks Ray.
My favourite overseas edition was the Japanese, they are nice and small, with all those pretty little pictures, that maybe one day I will understand <G>

My favourite oddities, are the Mexican Faerie Tale, and the same in an anthology from Croatia.
