Hey Shells,

I haven't been home in a few years, but we're planning a family vacation back this coming summer to see my neice get married and have a small family reunion of sorts.. I envy the D.D... I sometimes splurge and buy the ground coffee from the grocery store and make D D at home, but it's just not the same, and we have to get our donuts from the grocery store since there is no donut shops here :( Get much snow??

Name is Wendy and I just turned 40 at the beginning of October. We live
just
outside Sioux City Iowa, but I was born and raised in a small town in
NH.
I have to admit that this milestone birthday was hard to swallow. I've
been
married for almost 15 yrs to an awesome man I actually met on the
internet,
long before it was the "in" thing to do. We have 4 kids. Our oldest
son
turned 13 in July, then our son that is 11, a daughter, 9 and our
youngest
son is 7. I'm lucky enough to be a stay at home mom, but I've held jobs
in
retail since I was 17. Our oldest son was diagnosed with Aspergers when
he
was 6 and has made AMAZING strides with the condition. Our 11 yr old
was
diagnosed with a rare stomach disease 3 yrs ago, but is doing great.

When I have downtime I LOVE to read and I've played online games
starting
with Darksun.. wayyyyyyy back in the day, and I've played EQ, DAoC, Age
of
Conan, Warcraft, City of Heroes, DDO and Rift. I'm sure I've forgotten
a
few, but my memory isn't what it used to be :) Besides Ray, who is my
all
time favorite author, I have also read George R R Martin, Stephen
Donaldson,
Elizabeth Moon and Dean Koontz just to name a few :) I've been
lurking on
the list for about 4 yrs or so I think, but I tend to be pretty quiet :)
