Hi I'm Joe (Not Joseph, to friends at least) I'm 23 - wrote 22 there, must be getting 'older' - and I live in Kinross in Scotland. I've recently started work as a trainee tax adviser, despite the fact I have an Honours degree in Law and Diploma in Legal Practice. Funny how things work out. I write as an online games reviewer for Realmofgaming.com and I am writing a novel, The Gatekeeper - which I shamelessly self-promoted on here a couple of months back after winning Thenextbigauthor.com competition. Thank you to those of you who very kindly commented on it to me; I much appreciated your thoughts. I started reading Feist after my uncle Jim urged me to read Magician when I told him how much I enjoyed Harry Potter. I was 12 at that time and have read most of Feist's works for the proceeding decade. (I have all of Ray's books...just not got round to reading a few of them. I know!) I met Ray about 3 or so years ago in Glasgow at Borders bookstore and he was most gracious in affording a gushing fan a lot of his time. To be honest I don't think I asked a single question I really wanted to at the time but I loved the general chit-chat we had even more so. He told me I needed to read more broadly if he was my favourite author :) Humble, as well as notoriously clever. Cheers -----
