Ah, no I won't. Writers really dislike it when readers tell us how to inscribe a book. "To Jack, who gave me all my ideas." "To Joe, I couldn't have done it without you." "To Sam, my best friend forever." They think it's funny. We don't. Just a name, and the one exception to the above is if it's for a special occasion. I will write "To Jack, Happy Birthday" if that's what it is, same for graduation and anniversaries.
