I sat in a hotel (pub for you Brits, bar for you Yanks) in Toowoomba next to a retired ALF (back when it was the VFL) having him explain the rules. Pretty much if you don't mug the guy the "contact" is "incidental." He kept saying, "He could have called that, but instead he called 'play on!'"
