If you like Glen Cook you definitely should try Erikson, I also liked the Night Angel trilogy but found I could not get into his next series..

I fished into my change purse and produced these suggestions (of personal favorites): Glen Cook - The Black Company saga, The Dread Empire series and the Instrumentalities of the Night books (the latter an interesting version of Europe (not by name but the parallels are there), magicks and various mystical entities) Steven Brust - The Jhereg books (plus Khraven books, etc.) Assassins and cooking. and more recent - Brent Weeks - I liked his Night Angel triology.
