I remember when I was in Wellington it was like that as well, I kept calling the bookstore asking if they had received the newest Feist or WHAT! Was working for police at the time, actually got one of the guys to drive me with the sirens on and everything once they finally had it, story for another time...

I dont think after that period of time (30yrs?) i could stop with a particularly powerful character like Pug :-). May is only 2 months away, but im going to have to pre-oder from UK, as here in Christchurch the 2 bookstores left are too slow in getting your books in. See you in June. Lani <snip> Midkemia is a virtual world. I could go back and do stories there any time I wish. How does it feel for the Riftwar Cycle to be over? Nothing, really. It's just another book in the chain. I didn't feel any different finishing Magician's End than it did finishing Rage of a Demon King, for example. It's the rear view mirror. By the time I'm done with rewrite, I'm pretty tired of it and thinking about the next one. I'm currently finishing up the text portion of The Chronicles of Pug (AKA known as Atlas of Midkemia before the title change) but I thinking about King of Ashes, and The War of Five Crowns. I'm always a book ahead in outlook.
