I really enjoyed Magician's End, was a bit sad to think it might be the last 
Midkemia story for a while though. There was one bit that didn't quite seem 
right to me though, page 376:

"He had used his Tsurani orb to get to Rillanon and found that Oliver's 
fleet has departed. After leaving his grandfather, Jim had availed himself 
of a talented young magician named Donato to transport himself back to 
Rillanon"

Is there a mistake in there somewhere? If the orb can take him to Rillanon, 
why would he need a magician to get there?

On another note, is there any explanation about the Taredhel and their rate 
of births? I recall in an earlier book it said that their birth rate was a 
lot higher than the other elven races but I don't recall any explanation as 
to why.
