Did Macros really beat Ruagh - or were they in cahoots/Ruagh let him think
he won? And were they really as subservient to the Valheru, or were they
playing a part?
I'm guessing the dragons altered Ashen Shugar?
Did Ashen Shugar stand a chance against the Dread King at the end?
Did the Dread influence Draken Korin or was it Nalar?

I also would like to know how much time passed between when pug met with
the gods and when Magnus met Philip and does Magnus know the truth (I'm
assuming he does, but it really left me itching for a continuation)?
Does this mean more Midkemia books in the future based on that meeting? ;)
