interesting to see what you and others have been up to over the years.

It was 95 or 96 I started on the list...and there were old-timers back then.

I can't say this has been the only constant for me - home, work, wife, and
kids are crazy but comparatively constant (just one move for me in that
time span, and it was about a mile away). I've done about six jobs at work,
with as many desks, but never got out of the building (the oldest on
campus).

To a certain extent I can still mark milestones with both events in my life
and which of Ray's books were the newest at the time. Magician's End still
feels so bittersweet...haven't gone back to read anything in Midkemia
since, but I think I will soon.

I just wish I had as much time for leisure reading as I used to...just
bought my first pair of reading glasses last week, so that's the direction
I'm going now.
