When discussing major plot points that might spoil a story for someone else, include a spoiler warning in the subject or first line of your message, naming the book(s) affected - and don't complain about a spoiler in an email that includes a proper warning. In a related note...list users often abbreviate titles using acronyms - DotE, SotE, MotE for the Empire trilogy, for example. As for Ray's BEST work...the scene where Jimmy and Gamina meet has always been one of my favorite scenes in all of Ray's works. I haven't yet decided if the Author's Preferred Edition improved it or not, but I love both versions. There's an awful lot I like about PotB. And the scene that bookends that relationship is another personal favorite, if in a different way.
