That's great. Basically, we're taking a risk having votes with pending items. Thinking about this, I'd like to change my proposal: we can vote ourselves with a pending item outstanding, but, on reflection, it is unreasonable to expect the incubator PMC to vote on graduation (which implies the resolution of all outstanding issues) without us having resolved all issues! Therefore, lets get this fixed (this weekend should be fine) before we consider asking the Incubator PMC to vote on graduation. I guess what I'm saying is that we shouldn't just do it in a sandbox, we should do it in trunk - remove the code now, and re-add it as soon as we have the required dependency available. WDYAT?
