Hi all,

This is probably time for a guy to jump in who knows the legalities better
than I do :-)

Fact is, that I did develop this code outside of Apache in terms of "not
stored in an Apache SVN repository and not discussed on any list until now". Yet, the two bundles have been developed with the goal to contribute them to
the Felix project when done.

Of course, I would provide any information (electronically or by paper of
fax), which would be required to fullfill any such requirements.

If you are willing to send in a grant, then I would say to just do it to cover our bases. We can't get in trouble for having too much documentation. Then once people have a chance to look, we can vote on accepting the contribution.

I guess the issue is for a grant then. Was this work developed outside
of Apache? If so, that means it would need a grant, would it not? Or is
the fact that you are a committer already override this requirement?
