Blogs are passive, they're only annoying when friends send you links
to them. The mail would continue. I'd be 100% happy if the mailing
list were indexed. Every other mailing list under the sun is, I don't
understand why this one is veiled in secrecy. Maybe a blog isn't the
solution, I think they only float up if they're a) really popular
or b) all your buddies with similar tastes in noir films link to you.

It drives me up the wall that with two terms I can find my posts on the
one-mail-a-month libevent mailing list, yet come up empty handed
for felix-impl/lang, having to instead scrounge around in various inboxes.
