Del, I am so very sorry for Effie’s passing – I am sure that there isn’t really any words which can totally heal your pains – and I am crying with you though I don’t anything about Effie, but I know that she was and is such a special soul for you.   I read a poem one time somewhere – it says something like “if a life is a journey, death is our destiny” – which brought me a very interesting perspective about “life” and death – We are all on the way to our destiny, and some gets there sooner than others – we want lives of our beloved animals to be as long and enjoyable possible – but eventually, we are all going to go to the same place (in my mind) – I am hoping that all my animals who left me first are waiting for me there if they did not already come back as another life – it’s certainly more difficult for us who are left here to deal with the pain than the ones who leave us perhaps – but please know that Effie’s is at a better place now, where there is no more pain – but her soul is still here with you – and she knows you love her and you miss her, and she returns you the same.   Hugs,   Hideyo   -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Nina Sent: Thursday, March 03, 2005 2:27 PM To: felvtalk@felineleukemia.org Subject: Re: Effie has her angel's wings   Del, I'm so sorry about Effie's passing, you and your husband must be missing her so much.  Didn't you say she used to sleep with you at night?  We're so blessed to know and love them, it's never long enough.  I hope it gives you some comfort to know that because of you she lived and loved better and longer than she would have without you.  Thank you for all you do for so many.
