glad to see the pillowcase idea was mentioned--that's worked consistently well for me tho i certainly didn't think it'd work at all at first!
injectible ace has been used on my kids for various reasons and i've never had any adverse reactions--one time, during a persian-grooming-after-horrible-diarrhea, the vet used just enough to calm her down and not knock her out. i can't remember if that was the time he used an "antidote" to reverse the effect or not, but i know that he's done that with different kitties at different times. feliway and rescue remedy seem to have limited impact on terror and aggression in my experience....
