Michael,
Please let us know what you find out and how Stiches is doing. You may need to force feed him to keep him going, how long has it been since he's eaten? If you don't have a syringe, (without a needle), you might try giving him some weak broth in an eyedropper. Go very, very slow and make sure he swallows. Have you tried some of the things Kerry suggested earlier? Sour cream, lunch meat, baby food? When you get some baby food, try and get Beechnut, Gerbers has corn starch in it, get just the meat and broth kind. You can try to give him some baby food in an eyedropper, if he won't eat it on his own. Sometimes heating it, just a little bit helps it to smell stronger so they'll feel like eating it more. We're all pulling for the two of you. It sounds like Stitches hasn't had it easy in his life, thank God he found you to show him what it's like to truly be loved.
Nina

It seems stitches condition is continuing to degrade.
he has lost all appetite and and i didn't see him
drinking any water. I have tried a few different dry
foods, to include the treats he loves so much, but to
no avail. his breathing seems to be stable but by no
means is good. i will get him to a cat specialist
tomorrow or the Ohio State Animal Hospital. i just
hope they can help us...i would/need to see him be his
self again. thanks again for all your help, you all
have made things so much easier to cope with.
