Thanks, I just looked up licorice and it shouldn't be used by patients with heart problems so I don't think that one will work for Joey. My vet fully expects to see atleast the beginnings of cardiomyapathy. He had a bunch of tests at 5 months of age and was diagnosed in the very early stages and was on lasix and some other medication for about a year, then rechecked and said to be OK. He is 10 now so I'm really worried.
