Yep, that's a known issue. I have eye problems
and can't look at high contrast screens, so it's the best I can do for you and
not get migraines from writing my own emails. :)
It used to be much worse, and the people here
helped me to make it as readable as possible and still be able to read it
myself. I read very fast, but when I write, I have to proof read and such so I
have to look at my own emails much longer than other's replies to me, so while I
can read other people's stuff, I have a hard time reading my own if it's not low
contrast. The black text on white is the worst for me, I can't look at it for
more than about 3 minutes before it starts to bother me.
The AOL people seem to have the worst problems
with my colors. It IS a light gray background with black text. But on AOL, for
some odd reason, it shows up any number of odd colors for no reason.

I am having a hard time reading your posts because of the background color and I have to change my font color when I respond so it can be seen . . . just wanted to let you know this, as others may find your posts hard to read too. |
