There are currently committees in the senate and house actually working on a bill to crack down on puppy millers and back yard breeders.

Please see below and contact your senators and representative.

Please forward to anyone.   AKC and other breeders are against this legislation, and they are already trying to get it stopped in committee.

Subject: [GeorgiaAnimalWelfare] FW: Call to support PAWS

OK I got this heads up from a friend who talked to Santorum’s office about PAWS. We need to flood his office with support calls and everyone needs to write their own Senators to become a co-sponsor of this Bill. Please do this today – it is imperative that this Bill passes.

I talked with Santorum's staff today. They said what is really needed is:

1) Calls in favor to the committee AND

2) CO-sponsors for the bill.

Please alert everyone to call and or e-mail Senator's Dole and Burr (and others Senators in other states), encouraging them to Co-Sponsor PAWS.

Blessings,

Terry
