how did the chicago freecycle group get talked into not doing animals????? i know there are folks all over the country who spend a couple of hours every day flagging messages on their local boards to get them hidden....
what a great idea, too, to suggest the folks give the nominal donation fee to their local shelter (or the rescue that couldn't take them for lack of funds/room.....)!

I truly hope you're not offended by my saying this--we cat people have
to stick together. I have to take that risk for the sake of the furry
ones.

I used a group called freecycle.org. I used it in my city of las vegas
but you can post just about anyware, in any city or multiple cities.
This website is for keeping our landfill clean. Giving away things
people would normally put in the trash. A lot of different animals for
all sorts of reasons for giving them away. I took a shot and this lady
lived very close to me and came over and took them.
If I find anyone else that will help with this problem, I will let this
group know right away.
