I just learned of another organization that grants money to help animals in need of life-saving medical treatment. They help rescue groups with individual cases and also low-income individuals. It's called the LifeLine program and is run by United Animal Nations. In 2004, they provided more than $15,300 to 25 cats, 47 dogs, one horse and one ferret. There is info about it at www.uan.org.
