The viroptic is an anti-viral of some sort.  If you don't get it the cats' eyes can actually rupture.  It's been so long ago since I dealt with it my info. might be out of date.  I had two cats with it.  One was felv positive and the other was negative.  At that time I had to go to an opthomologist.  But I think now most regular vets have it..........  It was very expensive.  I do remember that.  And I had to begin by putting drops in like 8 times a day or something.  There were other drops I had to use as well.
