Besides that being an outrageously high price well beyond anything I have
ever heard of, there are some online groups that provide money to people who
cannnot afford treatments for their cats. I do not know if they would help
where the outcome is so ambiguous, but if you are interested I can try to dig up
the contact information. One is called IMOM, I think another is called the
Feline Veterinary Emergency Fund, or something like that, and the third is a
program within United Animal Nations.
