Ah,  only a cat would have to put up with a choice
between amputation and being homeless. 
 
Sad I know,believe me after I found out how declawing was done,I was appalled.a lot of these cats have came in already declawed,could have been very well because of it,who knows.I just try to love them and hope that thay are happy.And from what I have seen they are.

www.catsinternational.org has excellent information on
how to "train" a cat. They've toned down their
article on declawing for some reason, but still make
some good points in it. Feline Future also has a good
article on declawing, without sounding hysterical.
