Nina,       Thanks so much for the prayers and encouragement.  My mind is finally "functioning" again somewhat after everything today.  I too just can't fathom that Pekoe's platelets are so low, and yet he's still more or less himself?????  I looked up Digby's last blood work that he had done the day he passed, and his platelets were 7!  Mind you, he actually had full blown leukemia and deteriorated very quickly, so that's not really the same as whatever may be going on with Pekoe.  Am just trying to stay focused and praying for the strength to do right by Pekoe.   Marlene (Pekoe & Angel Digby)
