Hooray! I'm so pleased and proud that she did so well! Isn't it
amazing? The same thing happened with Star and his visit to the vet.
I'm a little concerned that the vet wasn't able to tell you exactly
what is going on with her. If there is continuing inflammation, why is
it present? What's the underlying cause? I guess I should be happy
that they didn't find anything! I'm praying that the antibiotic
injection does the trick and her gums return to normal. I wish you
could give her Interferon A. It seemed to help Gracie's gums when they
were inflamed. I understand not wanting to put her on steroids, but
they don't have side effects when given in small enough, short term
doses. You may want to consider it again, if she doesn't improve
quickly. Do you have her on wet food in the meantime? Sweet little
