Cindy thats wonderful news about Smokey's improvement! Hooray for you
and your precious little boy!! Thank you so much for letting us know
he's doing well. I tell you there is no joy like watching our fragile
babies rebound and begin playing! I'm so pleased for you two.
I know you tried a lot of things and sometimes it's hard to tell if it
was one thing that helped, or the combination, (I'm starting to believe
the biggest factor around my house is prayer and our stubborn loving
resolve!). I know you used IR and that at least in the beginning you
were administering it subq. Did you ever switch to IV? I would love to
know if the effectiveness, (it does seem to be effective in some cases),
can be achieved subq instead of IV. I hate visits to the vet as much as
my animals do and if I ever need to try IR, I'd rather do it at home.

I took Smokey to the vet yesterday for a recheck. He
is really doing good right now. His weight was up
from 5lbs.8oz. to 6lbs.2oz. He has gone 2 weeks now
without a fever. He is eating great and really for
the 1st time since I have had him he is acting like a
kitten. He plays and runs around the house like
nothing is wrong with him. I want to thank all of you
for giving me suggestions on different treatments.
Smokey is a precious little boy and I will treasure
every minute I have with him.
