New to the group, Interferon omega?

Hi, I am new to the group. My cat Stella is about 4 years old with FELV. Her kidneys are failing and she is anemic. Her HCT was 14 on Monday, down from 17 the week before. She was not getting fluids then, but is now. Will dehydration change these numbers?  She started on epogen 1 week ago Monday and she gets a supplement (Amino B-Plex) with B vitamins, iron and amino acids. How much iron do you usually give? She is also on an oral interferon. What is the Virbagen Interferon Omega? Is this an injectible?  She is eating with the help of a small dose of cyproheptadine. What about a transfusions? I had a FELV cat transfused years ago who responded well for about 6 weeks. My vet now is hesitating because Stella is very shy. She is not hard to treat she just is very afraid at the vet. She wanted to try her on the epogen 1st. Thank you, Elysa
