i think that sometimes we learn the most important lessons in the hardest ways--and i've come to believe that the ones we lose because we just didn't have the information that could have saved them came to us SPECIFICALLY so we would learn about those conditions, and work to make sure that no one else ever has to learn the same lesson that way. by teaching others, and sharing what we've learned, we best honor those furry little teachers who came to us....
