I have heard of this before, but it was not as accurate. I guess they are working to make it more accurate? Either way, it's always been known to be in the saliva, but it dies so quickly that that is not how it is typically transmitted. It's more typically transmitted sexually like felv, through bad fighting like is involved in non neutered cats, and through birth to a positive mother. My positives have always groomed my negatives.
