This is so true, and I include Best Friends, the ASPCA and all of the bigger groups, if they aren't going to get any publicity and be completely in charge MOST of the time they aren't interested. It seems like the bigger rescues/shelters will step in when there is some type of publicity or recognition for their efforts. Like when I did the Ragamuffin rescue from a hoarder/breeder situation last year I had no help from the big shelters or rescues including "Pasados". I'm sure some of you know who they are. They got themselves in some hot water over some of the Katrina animals. Great Job, now get back to bed!! Believe me they were considered a rescuer's nightmare.  I'm glad to say all were adopted (over 200 of them) into loving homes across the nation and Canada. Yes Karen, why don't you think about Washington???!!! I wish that you could come to Washington state to help us here in rescue. -- Belinda happiness is being owned by cats ...
