Michelle,

I have never heard of anyone trying to save a
groundhog!  What an animal lover you are!  And how
sweet of you to do that.  I wouldn't have known what
to do.  I am sorry that you and the groundhog had to
go through that.  I know it must have been hard.  But
maybe the groundhog knew you were trying to help. 
Don't beat yourself up; you were trying to do what was
right.  Prayers going out for all of your concerns
today.
