Thanks for putting "good news" in the subject line!  Oh man, do I get the quandary of what to do about Grayson.  You are officially surrogate Mom now!  Please do send the pictures.  I can't wait to see what our little angel looks like.  I don't know Tonya, unless I was sure he was going to a better situation than the one I was able to give him, I'm afraid they'd have to pry him out of my cold clammy hands!  (Which is of course why I don't foster).

Thank you, Michelle and everyone.  I've been crying a good bit myself today too.  And thank you Nina for all your thoughts.  I do have some good news to report.  Thank goodness.

Lauren (the girl whose dogs were thrown off the overpass and found Grayson and the tabby that died) called tonight and said she had met with the new owner of the house and has permission to get the cats out.  She also said she is off tomorrow and will work on finding a rescue to take mom and the entire litter.  Of course then I have to decide what to do about Grayson......  If a good rescue will take him I 'should' send him with his mother.  But that will be hard at this point.

I talked to the lady from the spay neuter group and she has worked things out so that I will only be involved in transport and not all of the other paperwork and legwork involved.  There are over 20 cats at that house now.

My electrician called and said he has the electricity fixed at my old house so it can be shown again now.  Thank goodness for that.  I am going broke paying 2 house payments, insurance, electric, etc....

I got out my antidepressants and they helped.  Thanks Nina.  When I get so down I forget I should be taking them!

Grayson is getting into a routine and doing well in my opinion.  Anyone who would like to see pics can let me know and I'll mail them to you offlist.

thanks again,
tonya

Tonya, I am so sorry about the tabby boy.  I am crying a little thinking about him, and what you are doing and going through.
