I have a handy-dandy little spanish/english electronic dictionary and the noun in spanish is 'la acupuntura'

Good luck with that, Nina. I speak Spanish, but have no idea how to say acupuncture! I know how to say needles, but it's the kind that are used for injections, and am not sure the word is the same. he might think you are offering him drugs! :) You might want to look at an English-Spanish dictionary-- there are some online-- and look up acupuncture. There must be a direct translation of the word.

Thanks for posting this Michelle.  I have a neighbor across the street that is having kidney problems and I am positive would never have considered acupuncture.  I'm going to suggest it to him.  Unfortunately, there's a bit of a language barrier, I don't speak Spanish and they don't speak much English.  Wish me luck in translation!
