Hi Tad,
Yes, Dexamethasone. Spencer has been getting daily injections of .4cc,
(that's 4/10 of a cc). That amount was prescribed when he weighed about
13 lbs. and he was at death's door. The experience you describe for
your boy with the fevers is what I've been praying for with Spencer.
Spencer didn't have a fever, we do suspect lymphoma from the xrays, but
I'd love to take him off the Dex and have him remain as healthy as he
seems today. It's just incredible. He's acting almost completely
healthy... grooming, eating, jumping over the barriers, wanting to go
outside, bumping on me, purring. It's so wonderful to see him this
way. I'm very grateful for this time together, I just wish I knew how
to make it last!

Hi Nina
When you say DEX is that DEXAMETHASONE ??
Leo got only one shot.. I asked about getting another
but she was hesitant because of his ammune system...
But now it doesn't make any difference...
How much is Spencer getting ????
I do have another FeLV+ cat with chronic fevers and
the one shot cleared that problem up and he has been
a young playful boy for several months...
