My
5-year old Bubba was sick recently; the vet could not figure out what caused the
fever and no other symptoms except occasional sneezing. Anyway, Bubba lost
5 of his 15 pounds because his appetite fell off.
I am
trying to fatten him back up because 10 pounds is not a healthy weight for
him. He eats vigorously when he is especially hungry, such as first thing
in the morning, but he has to be encouraged to eat later in the day. I
have been giving him Nutri-Cal and hand-feeding him "cat pate" but I'd really
like to know what can be done to stimulate his appetite
again.
