Hi Nina,I believe one of the things that helps me deal with the grief of losing so many sweet babies is the kind words and support from all you wonderful people on this list. That and knowing that I was lucky enough to be able to love them when no one else would.I also have more that need my love and I can't give up on them.
You haven't heard anything about sweet buff boy Max cause he has been pretty healthy up until recently. He was a gentle sweet soul. When I told Roy about him leaving us,all he could say was "poor Max".He really like him very much.He goes there with me often and he exercises the fur kids with the lazer light and helps me hand out treats. He is a kind hearted man.Thank you for asking about this.

Sherry I'm sorry to hear about Max. I don't remember you posting about
him before. Do you feel up to telling us a little more about him? Does
your boyfriend volunteer at the sanctuary too? I understand hesitating
to tell your boyfriend, (is his name Roy?). Sad news can always wait
just a little bit.

When you're able, I wish you'd talk to us about the process you go
through in coping with so much loss. How you've come to terms with it,
how you are able to keep on doing your good work when you are constantly
faced with heartache. Your words might help others in the midst of
grief. If you feel it's too personal to talk about, forgive me for asking.
Goodnight little Max, we're all thinking of you,
Nina
