Sorry to hear about the giardia, bummer. My brother actually had it, kept getting bad cramps and diarrhea that would clear up on it's own and then return. His first doctor diagnosed him with Chrone's sp? disease, which is a debilitating condition which can result in the removal of parts of the colon or even eventual death. He decided to get a second opinion, was thrilled to find it was just a parasite. Icky, but it cleared right up with meds. No idea where he got it from...
