The skin of the aloe is toxic, the gel
"juice" from INSIDE the plant is not. :)
It was discussed here about 3 years
ago... I have good memory. There was/is an aloe-based product (Acemanann)
that's used to treat FELV.... it's carefully extracted from the gel (the inner
parts of the leaves), without any traces of the skin.
