Hi Nina! I just wanted to caution the use of ketoprofen in dogs...it's rare, but severe ulceration of the GI tract can occur as a side effect of the drug...we actually had it happen at the clinic. A young dog died as a result of a severe allergic reaction to ketoprofen...hence we've trashed our remaining supply of the drug and will no longer be using it as a pain reliever. Like I said, it's *rare* to witness such a severe allergic reaction...but I assisted on the necropsy of this dog and couldn't believe what I saw! :(
