It WAS banned... but it's since been cleared, and is now approved again in the USA, the problem is that because it WAS banned for a while, all the stock in this country ran out, and couldn't be re-ordered fast enough for the demand. I read about the ban somewhere a while back, and saw it was resolved, but don't recall exactly how long ago it was.
